Obstacle Lighting Systems
What does an obstacle lighting system include?
One or more light sources mounted at the top of the obstacle for 360° visibility, a photoelectric switch to activate the source(s) in low light conditions, and an electronic control panel for operational status updates. Additionally, it includes mechanical accessories, such as support arm and fixtures, to ensure safe and reliable installation.
What makes our systems stand out?
Our system is characterized by exceptional reliability, achieved through over-dimensioned components, and includes design innovations that guarantee continuous operation even under material failure conditions. Furthermore, each component is certified for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Durability by EMC Hellas.
Who trusts our systems?
We collaborate with a wide range of companies and services in telecommunications and power transmission (towers/pylons), municipalities and local authorities (stadium lighting/forest fire detection masts), airports and helipads (towers/buildings), and industrial facilities (buildings/chimneys).
How are our systems being categorized?
As per ICAO recommendations, our products are typically divided in two categories, based on the type and criticality of the obstacle:
(1) Low Intensity (32 Cd, similar to L-810 as per FAA specifications): These include one or more low intensity light sources at the top and/or midsection of the obstacle.
(2) Medium Intensity (2000 Cd, similar to L-864 as per FAA specifications): These include one or more medium intensity light sources at the top and/or low intensity light sources at the midsection of the obstacle.
